Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
First of all, let me express my gratitude to GD for the transfer. The money came in when I was chatting with my friends. I danced and thanked God for the opportunity rendered to me.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
My life has changed. I have managed to buy things I couldn't have done on my own. I managed to buy iron sheets, school uniforms and some bags of maize. I also live a happy life because of the transfer.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
All my life, I have been desiring to build a house. The first thing I did with my transfer was to buy 20 iron sheets. I also bought 5000 bricks. I am planning to build a house next year because this year, the rain is fast approaching and I can manage to build a house in these remaining days. I also used the money to buy a mattress and now I am sleeping on a comfortable place. I also bought 5 bags of maize. The other amount of money was used to buy clothes and school uniforms. I have saved part of the money to used it when it's time to go to the hospital to deliver because I am currently pregnant.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving the money means that I'll be able to buy food, use the money as a business capital because i want to do business but I have no start up capital, I also have burnt bricks that needed money to help build a decent house for me and my family.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am the happiest in the afternoon because that is when I am able to relax and eat with my family after running around doing casual work for money to buy food.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest harship is putting food on my table, being in a.polygomous marriage makes it worse because most times I have to act as the head of house so that puts pressure on me. This money will relieve that pressure
