How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
No, I don't have any new goal for this current transfer. The same planned on building my house remains. Living in a kitchen for over five years it not healthy and I'm not comfortable of being there there any. So have put my everything in building myself a new house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I don't know how much to thank GiveDirectly for the level of work she has done for me. GiveDirectly gave us money without any interest. We are allowed to use our money the best way we feel. All of the work GiveDirectly has done are all good and I have not heard anything wrong about her work since I started receiving this transfer.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I bought two additional bundles of zinc, four cartoon of nails, and I have saved portions of my money to pay contractors to start my house projects.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
No, I am actually executing all the plans I had before receiving transfer from Givedirectly. I have succeeded in sending my children to school and currently purchasing some building materials to start my new construction.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
As far I am concern, Givedirectly is doing extremely well and I have nothing to say regarding what they are not doing well
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I am temporarily residing in my father house. As a family person, it has been my long time dream to build a house. With Givedirectly intervention, I am now executing my plan to build a new house.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
When I receive the cash transfer, I will use some to buy Iron sheets or Zinc to build my own house. I am currently living in one of my father's two bedrooms kitchen with my kids and spouse, it's really hard for us especially when it's time to cook, the smoke from the kitchen disturbs us so much that caused sickness for my children. My husband and I have plans to get our own place which we have started preparing sun dry bricks and sawing planks to get out of the current situation. I will then use some to send my children to school, because they are our future. Our source of income is burning charcoal and processing cassava into FUFU to earn money to sustain the family and execute of our plans (To build our own house) and we have not been able to pay our children school. The balance will be used to start a business to help feed the family. I was doing a small business before I got pregnant, the pregnancy couldn't permit me to continue the business because I used to walk from one Town to another to sell my goods.
What is the happiest part of your day?
What has brought me joy or happiness in the last six months, was in November 2021 when my elder brother who lives in Monrovia surprised me with some money to help my family curtail some constraints. My children had no slippers and some clothes, I was able to purchase some for them and they were much happy and it brought some burden relief too. Seeing my kids smile again after a long wait and cries until it was resolved, I was really happy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The challenges I am facing currently is access to finance. My husband left me pregnant and went to see his family in Lofa, since he left, it's been six months now he has not returned. The burden to care the children and my pregnancy is upon my shoulder. I will have to harvest cassava and process it into FUFU and sell before I earn some money to visit the hospital and feed my children. I was doing a small business before I got pregnant, the pregnancy couldn't permit me to continue the business because I used to walk from one Town to another to sell my goods. Things are really difficult for me because my husband is not around for about six months now since he went to visit his family in Lofa county, my condition (pregnant) can't permit me work like before.
