Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received this transfer I knew my life has changed for the best. It's a privilege being enrolled on the GiveDirectly cash program. I'm thankful for this opportunity. It was my first time seeing such money.Money I didn't have to do any work for. Our family burden have been on me alone. My children dropped from scbool because I couldn't afford their tuition. I was so excited when I saw the money. I'm grateful that our my children will complete their education and they will have a brighter future.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that my family can now eat on time and I can afford my children tuition. Our lives will improve for the better. It's a privilege being on the GiveDirectly cash program and so thankful for this opportunity. With this program, after receiving all four transfers my family will never be poor again.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
My children ddopped out of school the past year. I couldn't afford their tuition. The roof of our house is damaged. During the rainy season it gets difficult because the house leaks. I didn't have any money to renovate our house and cater to my family needs at the same time. It was really worrisome. Fortunately GiveDirectly came to my village and I was opportuned to be enrolled on it's program. One of the best moments of my life. I spent some of the money on my children school. Thankfully they are all back in school. I also bought some materials to renovate our house. I saved a little amount. Thank God for this opportunity.Hopefully our lives will never be the same again.
