I spent my third transfer on plastering my entire house which I had build slowly starting with my first transfer since this was a very urgent need for me. I spent 10,000 KES on my child's examination fee to help him finish High School.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on Secondary school fee for my child (10,000 KES),adding stock to my Irish potato business (7,000 KES) and a face lift for my house (33,000 KES)
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my life is that I managed to pay my child's school and sent him back to class and this gives me great joy, thank you.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on buying a sack of maize at 4,300 KES, five cushions at 1,950 KES, then used the rest of the cash on little house items. The maize really helped me during the hunger season when the there was drought.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was so happy when I received the transfer that I went down on my knees and prayed because it came at a point when my family had totally nothing to eat.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship in my house is feeding my family since we only eat once a day and when we are lucky enough we eat twice a day (breakfast and dinner). This is because I'm a widow and I don't have a stable source of income or any support from anybody.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is usually in the morning hours when I'm seeing my children off to school.I also meet my friends and we exchange Ideas about how to take on the day.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means that I will pay school fees for my son who is in high school and repair my house which is not in a very good condition.
