How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
There has been a tremendous change in my life in that, I have paid my children's school fees without a struggle and I can afford a balance diet for my family. Previously, I didn't have the money to do all this which in turn led to worry and no peace of mind.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In opinion, GiveDirectly has done well by giving me the unconditional transfer that enabled to pay off a debt that I had with the hospital. There is nothing bad according to me that GiveDirectly has done.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to pay my children's fees worth Ugx 200000, hired an acre of land at Ugx 350000 and bought food worth Ugx 80000. I'm planning to spend Ugx 1000000 for commencing the construction of a permanent house.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, I now have good health as aresult of GivDirectly cash transfer and we can now afford to eat a variety of meals.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
It was a moment to thank God when I received my cash transfer. I have never received such an amount of money before and therefore worthy giving thanks.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my cash transfer worth UGX 400,000 for treatment. I have saved UGX 500,000 for paying tuition and the balance of UGX 800,000, I am making bricks for constructing a permanent house and I have started a small scale business.

My happiest part of the day is morning. it is the time when some people go to the garden and others go to school.
