Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that my family can eat well compared to when I could only earn from casual work to provide for my large family. Currently, I have seats that my visitors can sit on when they come visiting. I am grateful to Give Directly fro making my dream come true as I am now a proud owner of a Friesian cow which produces loads of milk. I sell the milk to get money to improve the standards of our living. We can also use the milk for family consumption hence healthy life.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I saw the message from Give Directly, I really felt grateful and happy. I saw a flash of all the dreams I wanted to fulfil but could not due to low income from my casual work which could only provide for my family's daily bread. I started preparations to go shopping for nice sofa seats and some clothes for my family immediately.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
When I received this transfer, I thought of a dream I always had of buying a Friesian cow. With part of the transfer, I bought the Friesian cow that I can now rear to get 20-30 cups a day to sell and consume. This is a major way of generating income for the family hence I can easily get money to pay school fees for my children and siblings. My family's clothes and bedding were also tattered and I saw it fit to buy some for my children, siblings and I. I also decided to use part of this transfer to buy sofa seats for beautifying my as I did not have presentable ones. Now I can wow my visitors whenever they come visiting.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money will enable me expand my business. I have been selling petrol to motor bike operators in our local market place and I will be able to improve the business by bringing more litres of fuel because sometimes I always run out of fuel due to short supply because I had limited capital. Increasing the stock will increase my profits so that I be able to buy even a pump in future and my dream of owning a mini petrol station will become a reality.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day is in the evening after finishing the days work. Our sales shop is in the open place full of dust and the kind of customers we have are unruly and difficult to handle that I feel relieved in the evening while counting the days sales even as I plan for the following day.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced is sickness. I am the first born in a family of seven, of late my mother have been attacked by arthritis and is on very expensive medication that have drained my savings hindering my plans to expand the business.
