Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal in the next four months is to start a hardware business. Most people in this village are planning to build new houses. I want to take advantage of this opportunity because I know where to get the materials at a wholesale price. Since I am also a mason, I know I will generate more from the sale of the construction materials to my clients hence I will have diversified my sources of income.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my life ever since Give Directly came into my life is that I was able to improve my farming techniques and also incorporated other crops. For the first time, I was able to afford the conventional methods of farming. I managed to buy fertilizers, pesticides, and seeds. I also managed to hire a tractor which cultivated a larger piece of land compared to the size I could have ploughed had I done it on my own. Apart from that, I also bought modern storage bags for storing my crops during the harvesting season. I believe I will get a bumper harvest, my life will never be the same after investing in this business
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change in the next six months because I will have increased my sources of income. My living standards will have improved because of the various investments I have done so far. I will not only getting income from my construction job but also from the hardware and my farm as well. This will enable me to comfortably meet my household needs. I attribute all these to Give Directly. I couldn't have done all these development moves without their help. May they never lack so that they continue helping other needy people like me

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different in many ways. With GiveDirectly transfers, I have been able to practice improved farming practices and consequently improved crop production in my farm. I have also been able to start a poultry keeping project and above all is that I have been able to take up more house construction jobs owing to the fact that I now have the necessary tools and equipments needed in building houses. I am so indebted to GiveDirectly for the support that has brought tremendous change in my life and that of my family.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
We stay in highland areas and the climate here is so favorable for cash crops such as tea and coffee. Initiating such a project requires relative large amount of capital but once started can be very helpful to the family. In the next four months, I plan to save up enough money to be able to start small on a tea plantation project. The project, I know shall be highly profitable and helpful in the future as it will assist me meet most of my family's expenses like payment of school fee with very little or no difficulty at all. I am looking forward to seeing this project come to start.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
Being a house constructor and that being my main source of income, I have for a long time been having difficulties taking up some casual jobs offered from within and around my village. This has been happening mainly due to the lack of enough building equipment that could allow me do my job without relying on a second party. After receiving these transfers, I have been able to buy some of these building equipment and this has subsequently enabled me to take up jobs that come my way. I no longer have to rely on people with the same tools as a secondary employee in the jobs that I could handle them by myself and make a decision on whether I need assistance from someone else or do it on my own. These tools have seen me earn more income and has resulted in rise in the living standards of my family. I now am able to save extra income earned from the said jobs and this has been the biggest difference in my daily life over the last four months. I am so indebted to GiveDirectly for this.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change in that I will be more economically empowered than I am right now. With the investments that I am making I will be able to raise more income for the family and consequently raise the living standards of all of us. By this time, I also expect to have started building a new house considering that the one that we stay in is too small and with the size of family is increasing.
