How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different from how it was in that I managed to buy a piece of land. I almost hated my father for selling most of the piece of land that he had promised to divide among us. I got self-satisfaction when I got to buy land with Gd's money. I do not hate my father anymore. I have forgiven him. I also get enough sleep which I was not able to get before because I was always stressed after my father sold a very huge piece of land leaving us with nothing to inherit
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly projects have transformed the lives of many in our village. The stress levels have reduced, most people have stopped drinking alcohol because they got money, therefore, it was easier to fulfill our daily needs. I just like how unique they implement their programs. It is evident their mode of implementation is more effective since the lives of many have changed
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent part of my transfer on purchasing land. A fixed asset that will last forever. I had a small piece of land that I bought a few years ago after my father had sold almost all the pieces of land he had acquired. I did not want to follow up in court because it could have brought wrangles and a lot of disagreements. I have planted trees in the newly acquired land. I managed to fence it too. This has brought self-satisfaction because I no longer wonder about the properties that my father sold. Apart from that, I also kept some savings in the merry go round and used the remaining amount for our daily upkeep.

The happiest part of my day is in the evenings. Since I am an artist, I feel happy after I have drawn an item for a client and he/she is pleased and happy with my work. I feel I have achieved the days' target and earned my daily bread.

The biggest hardship i have faced in my life was when my wife separated from me when she learnt of my psychological problem. My life has been hard since then but for now, i feel much better and i pray that one day she will come back home.
