What does receiving this money mean to you?
"What I plan to do with my cash transfer is to sponsor my daughter in school, then the balance of the money will be placed into fish business; the earnings I can generate from my little cassava farm isn't enough to meet up with these demands. We are two on one man, when he hustles, whatever he gets he divides it into two, and my portion is too little to do much, so, GiveDirectly coming in to help will surely be a blessing to us."
What is the happiest part of your day?
"What brought me happiness in the last six months is, my daughter who happens to be my last child made a pass to the ninth grade class, what she did really brought me pride."
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
"The challenges I'm faced with now are: 'getting my daughter enroll in school, and starting my fish business', these are some of my challenges, as I said, my husband isn't doing any good Jobs, including myself, when he hustles, the little he generates he shares it into two for I and my mate, summing it to what I can generate from my cassava farm isn't enough to meet all of my demands, as per our area, the fish business can really sell on this side, and this will enable me support my children and feed my home as well."
