How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I'm Planning to complete my house project. I even bought some gas to saw my planks.I just pay my big son graduation feed from this same transfer. I'm thinking about starting a new business to help me. I was only depending on farming to survive. With givedirectly transfer I'm about to have very descent house. I also pay for my balance zinc that I'm going to complete my house with and fews nails.

GiveDirectly is really doing great things for me and my family. Since givedirectly started giving me transfer my life has changed greatly. I'm great for this great opportunity.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The first time I received my transfer i was on my to the network area to check.
I went i got there i saw my money on my phone.
I was so happy about this money i started singing and dancing.
I'm only living on farming to survive in this village.
I was really thinking where do i get money from to build a new house with zinc.
I'm going to be now to paid my children schools fees.
I will buy them some schools material for this year.

The biggest difference in my life is that i was not able to build a new house.
I was not even thinking of starting a new business.
My children school fees was a great challenge for me to paid.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
For over three decades of my life I have lived in this village and been through many hardships. As a child growing up I was deprived of so many things including access to education, foood and etc. When I received this money from GiveDirectly I'll used it to to support my children education. I have three children, one is now seeking higher education and the rest are still in high school. I will used this money to to make a large farm because this is my only source of income and lastly I will built a very decent place for my family to sleep.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Through all of these difficult times I have received great joy when I'm able to work hard and take care of some of my problems.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Life in this village has been really difficult and on a daily basis conditions only worsen. I have had lots of challenges over the years. As I speak to you I'm facing real difficulties in sending my children to school because there is no money. I'm unable to get good food for my family, some days we go to bed without eating. The issue of housing is another challenged, we live in a thatch house that leak when the rain falls. Getting enrolled in GiveDirectly program will be a blessing.
