How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has change in that I can now do modern farming, I have also bought animals which I would not afford if it was not GD.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Senstizing the community before enrolling them into GD program, The follow up activity has helped people to utilise the transfers very well. However I would prefer GD to transfer cash once not in two instalments for better planning purposes.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I paid school fees 421500ugx, house materials 674000ugx, farming 310000 and seeds for cabbages and sukumawiki 115000. The remaining balance of 113000ugx I will use it to purchase pesticides.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer for buying a bull at 829,000Ugx that am going to use for phoughing my land, I also bought a cow at 500,000Ugx, and 100g of improved variety of cabbage seeds at 170,000Ugx and the remaining transfer am planning to spend on farming.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my money I became very happy.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I have been in position to procure an improved variety of cabbage seeds, that were previously costly for me and I now own a bull that is going to ease my farming and increase my crop production.

The biggest hardship in my life is unemployment .
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is when ,I realize good harvest from my farm.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money, means creating a job for my self. because I will use the money, to upgrade from subsistence farming to commercial farming. which will help me to generate income in my house hold.
