What does receiving this money mean to you?
If my family becomes successful to receive this cash transfer, I will recondition my house with some portion and invest some portion in to business. The will solve the problem of good shelter for decades and the business too will be our source of income that will enable us as family to meet up with our day-to-day needs such as, health, education, clothing etc. I am not even educated. For this reason, our source of income is just casual labour work in order sustain. Therefore, those plans above, will help create a better future for my children.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the months of July, 2021 was my happy time. The reason behind my joy that time was, the successful surgical operation my elderly brother (Boakai Siryon) under went after suffering from certain medical condition for several years. For many years, we took him form place to palace in search of cure, we even went in to a lots of debts as family just to treat our brother. His safe surgical operation and good health made that period a happy time for the entire family and we even celebrated for a whole week.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The hardship I am facing currently is the lack of food supplies for my family. For about three years now, i have not been able to make farm. My husband has been way with the aim of looking for money at the gold mine for three years yet, he still returned home with nothing . During the time mentioned, I have been doing daily work on people's farms to enable me provide food for kids. This put us in a serious food insecurity. However, upon his return, we were able to build a little shelter in the main time and also a farm for this season.
