Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I felt very excited to get money for acquiring livestock and where to farm.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
My life has changed because this cash transfer has enabled me rent farm land. Currently, I farmed in g-nuts which I plan to sell and buy other livestock. In the past, I had no where to farm. In addition, I also acquired livestock like goats and a cow which I am rearing for future use.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I spent my transfer on buying three goats and a cow worth UGX 995,000, rent farm land worth UGX 250,000, bought household goods/clothes ( curtains, pair of bedsheets, a bed and a mattress ) worth UGX 264000, Agriculture tools worth UGX 70,000. The recipient also spent on food but could not remember.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means I will be able to buy livestock and some poultry that will support me and my household on future. I have always wanted to do this kind of thing but yet I didn't have the money to start it off.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am happiest in the noon time when I have had a meal. I feel satisfied.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I am faced with is inadequacy of money to do the things I would like to do. I have for long wanted to do animal farming and poultry but I have never had the opportunity to do so because there is no money.
