How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been because I am happy, I dress better, and my house has household items that i didn't have before.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, givedirectly has done well uplifting us from extreme poverty by giving us money to acquire what we would never have; I don't see anything it hasn't done well.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to buy my house doors, household items, a goat, and paid debts.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that now I have the necessary household items unlike before I would feel ashamed to serve visitors because I did not have good kitchen utensils.

The moment i received my money I felt very happy.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to buy five plastic chairs 120,000ugx, one big source pan at 120,000ugx , ten plastic cups at 30,000ugx and six plates 5,000ugx . I also bought one cow at 500,000ugx. I'm still planning on how to spend remaining money.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means I will be able to buy a piece of land, buy oxen and an ox-plough for agricultural purposes.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when my children come back from school.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I am faced with is inadequacy of farm land.
