What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent 30500 Kes on purchasing construction materials ( iron-sheets, nails, timber), paid labour charges and buying food for workers. I then spent 14000 Kes on hiring a bought and buying fishing net and spent the rest on food.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I now live in an iron-roofed house and am able to collect rain water when it rains since water is the biggest problem in this area. I no longer have to walk in the rain when it rains going to collect water from a neighbour's home. Living under an iron-roofed house has also saved me the stress of packing my belongings when it rains since my roof no longer leaks. This makes me be at peace even if it rains when am not in the house because I am always sure that rain would not destroy my property.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent the first transfer on buying a bag of maize at 4800 KES, bought a three sitter seat at 4000 KES and used the rest of the money on buying daily food for my family.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
It was at night I had no money even to buy food then I received the money. At that moment I was so happy, jumped and thanked God for the financial relief.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Raising money for food and school fees has been very difficult in this drought season. There are no casual jobs and if you get any, the pay is little.
What is the happiest part of your day?
At night when I'm going to sleep, because I don't have to worry about anything.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
It would mean the world to me because we are going to buy materials and build a larger and permanent house. At least, we will not have to worry about constantly changing the grass when the rainy season is approaching.
