How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I live in a smaller house with my mother and four children. The two(2) bedroom apartment has become less spacious and uncomfortable for a family size of six(6) persons. For this reason, I've yearned for a bigger and more spacious house of my own. After receiving my transfer, I decided to build a four bedroom house. I also had only two of my four children attending school. However, when I received my second transfer, I immediately registered my other two kids in school.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I truly admire the various processes used by GiveDirectly in selecting qualify people within a particular town to benefit from this project. Some of these steps include reaching out to poor people in hard to reach towns and villages. With the transfer received from GiveDirectly, our livelihood has improved. I'm so much grateful to be part of this unique opportunity.

In so doing, when I received my transfer from GiveDirectly, I bought eight (8) gallons of gasoline ($3,800LD) to saw wood and build my house. I also bought 2 bags of 25kg bag of rice for $4,100LD. Finally, huge portion of the money was used to pay two of my children yearly tuition for this academic year.
