My goal has been to have a stable means of income. I can longer rely on farming to sustain myself and my family due to unfavourable weather conditions. My main goal was to start a second hand clothes shop in my area but due to financial constraints I was unable to. I had to settle school fees arrears for my five school going children first before embarking on any new goals.

Give Directly has completely changed my life and for that I am grateful. I was at home doing my normal daily chores and I heard a message ring. Since I'm illiterate, I called my son who is my helper to check and he told me that I had received the transfers. We were so happy all together because I knew I'll be able to settle all the pending bills.

I'm looking forward to add the remaining balance to my next transfer so that I can have enough to pay mason and buy roofing poles.
