How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My new goal is to make farm. I want to plant pepper, corn, and bitter balls. When harvested, these crops will help me raise enough money to take good care of my family. In doing so, I will sell the produce gathered from my farm to sustain my family. All thanks to the entire team at GiveDirectly for helping transform my life.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I really do appreciate GD for all they have done in helping transform my life through their great financial support. It is indeed a huge blessing for me to be part of this wonderful program. I see nothing that GiveDirectly is not doing well.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I used a huge portion of my transfer to secure a large parcel of land. Portion of my transfer was also used to pay contractors to plant enough crops on my farm. The remaining of my transfer was used to purchase enough seeds for my farm. I am so blessed to be part of this awesome project.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Yes! My new goal is to plaster my house. Before I started receiving transfers from GiveDirectly things were a bit difficult. I used to make farina and take to the various markets around my town to sell. The business was going good in the beginning but as time went by, it started moving slow. My husband is a farmer. He makes oil and sell but our businesses were not going so well. I was so excited when I received my money. Seeing that kind of money that I didn't work for is astonishing. I'm grateful our lives will now get better.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly is not doing anything unwell. It is changing our lives. Improving our lives and giving us brighter future. We are so grateful for this golden opportunity. I am hoping that when I receive rest of my transfers my life will get better. I will never be in poverty again. I'm so grateful to God.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
My husband and I have been making business. At first the business was going good. With the economy, business started moving slow. Things got a little difficult for my family. We couldn't afford all of our children tuition. Thankfully, GiveDirectly came to my town with their cash program and I was fortunate to be enrolled. It's overwhelming. I was so excited when I received the money.I used some of my transfer to start a new business. The new business I started is gas selling and I'm hoping this improve. I also spent a little amount to buy food for my family.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
If I am qualified for this program and received any money from GiveDirectly I am going to put it in business to support my children in school and then buy land to build house for them so that in the feature I can tell the story that it was GiveDirectly that make me or my children reached this far.
What is the happiest part of your day?
For the past six months nothing had ever brought joy or happiness to me because I worry every day about how to get money but hearing about GiveDirectly people coming in my town and the kind of help that they are in doing around Liberia and the world at large, it really really brought joy in my heart and I am praying and hoping that I be qualified for this program and received this money to settle my problems.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The challenge I am facing now is money problem, I do not have money to do things that I want to do. And now bag of rice is 3000 and not every year I can get strength to make farm so since I didn't make farm this year and no food I need to buy it,but no money so my main challenges for now is money problem
