How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My house project is still the only goal I have at the moment. Even if it will be the only thing I will achieve from these transfers GiveDirectly is giving me, I will be rhe happiest person.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly does well in everything. Putting smiles on our faces, making sacrifices to come through such distant and dangerous road is enough good. Only a person who is not sincere will say GiveDirectly did not do this or that well.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I bought nails and other materials for my project. I am also keeping the rest to buy wood and pay the contractors who I will hire to build the house.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Being living in a thatched house for many years with my family and experiencing leakages of rain during every rainy season is a miserable life that my wife and I have been working tirelessly saving money to build a house with zinc on roofing. Because of our long time planned to construct a modern house I will prefer us using our unconditional cash transfer from GiveDirectly to make our dream come true .
What is the happiest part of your day?
I only feel happy whenever I am able to provide food and needs for my family. With that said , I am happy when the turnovers of our subsistence farming as well catches from my traps .
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
During every rainy season we face challenges from which the main one is how to keep our thatched roof house from making our belongings including our cloths wet from the rain . The process of putting dishes under the leakages hardly make me to rest well and sleep at almost every year of the rainy season. We also survives by subsistence farming which needs hard-working every year and these processes to accumulate food to keep my family health remain the our challenges because these activities are encounter on a yearly basis.
