Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I expect my life to change the moment I hand over the bride price to my parents -in-law. Currently, the preparations for the cultural function are ongoing. Secondly, I now sleep comfortably on my bed. Before this cash transfer, I could not afford to pay bride price for my wife and I never had a bed so I slept on the floor.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment i received money, I felt very because I got money for paying off bride price which I could not manage before.

I purchased 2 cows worth UGX 700,000, clothing/ household good( abed, mattress, utensils and curtains)worth UGX 440,000, bought solar energy worth UGX 180,000, paid off a debt worth UGX 100,000, food worth. The recipient also bought food but could not tell how much was spent. There is a balance of UGX 300,000 which I'm planning to spend on performing cultural function ( bride price).

What does receiving this money mean to you?
My plan is to spend the transfers for purchasing animals like cows and a bicycle. I will give part of these cows to my in-laws as dowery such that our marriage is formalised traditionally. The bicycle will be source of transport since I intend to start planting and selling tomatoes within near by markets. The money realised from selling tomatoes I will spend to provide basic needs like health, education and shelter for my family members.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest moments is in the evening hours. Iam able to play foot ball with friends at kotiokot primary school play ground as a way of refreshing my self. This has helped in reframing my plans.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I face is lack of money for buying animals like cows and goasts. Iam failling to do so because I lack any source of earning but depend on crop growing for consumption. This is non profitable since it does not cater for the future of my family members.
