Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my money, I felt so happy because I was going to accomplish what I had failed to do in many years.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my life is seeing that I have managed to finish my house that had prior failed me given that I was not able and had no hope of ever getting money to finish it.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I spent part of my transfer on clearing up a land debt at Ugx 300000. I spent the rest of my money Ugx 1400000 on improving my already existing house and bought three trips of sand, twenty two bags of cement, two trips of aggregate, two doors, one window, paying and feeding labor that did the work.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means I will be able to complete the construction of my house so that my family can sleep comfortably. I also hope to take care of the education needs of my children so that they can have a better future.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am happiest in the evening when I am with my children. The fact that I am able to have them is my happiness.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I am faced with is poverty. I do not have enough money to adequately provide for my family.
