How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The only goal I have is to complete my house and move in with my family. Before GiveDirectly came in my town, I had wished to have a house that will have more rooms. However, that wish was far from achieving as farming is the only source of livelihood for my family. I am happy and greatful that GiveDirectly came and gave the money that has helped me to build the house that I have long wished to have.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly as an organization working in my community has not done anything wrong. As for what GiveDirectly does well, it does well by visiting every house in this community to determine eligible households. In this way, in my mind no household that deserves to be enroll will be left out except where the household chooses not to be enrolled into the program.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
The first transfer I received my wife and I decided to use part of it to pay our children's school fees and the balance that left I did use it to buy two bundles of zinc. As the balance transfers were coming in, we decided my wife and I to buy other building materials such as nails, planks, and additional two and a half bundles of zinc. I was able to pay the contractors who I hired to build my house from the last transfer. I was also able to buy food for the house.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My new goal that i have for this my new transfer is that I'm not feeling well. I'm going through a very hard time with sickness that is giving hard time. I use all of my money that i received from GiveDirectly programs. I'm Praying to get well soon so that i can build my new house. I only bought three (3) bundles of zinc and with the first transfer. I was sick at that time so i was not able to use all the money on the house. Even this second transfer that I received i just used little on the house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my own opinion GiveDirectly has done great things for me. I'm Sick now but with the help of GiveDirectly I'm now going for good treatment. GiveDirectly is one NGO that i really give them credit in theirs job. I know very well that GiveDirectly will not be here forever. I'm really praying so that i can get well soon to get on my feet. GiveDirectly is one NGO that can not discriminate between people. I very much grateful to them for that levels of work.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
My most recent transfer that I received from GiveDirectly programs. I use halft of on my illness issues that I'm going through now. I will only use small of the money on the house, because I'm not well at all. I only bought few planks to add on the stick that the people cut for me. I give my daughter her school fees that wish is not much for her. I will be going again at the hospital for another chect up. I'm really going through serious challenge with this illness. I know very well that i will make it with the power of god.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My desire was to build a house and register my children in school for this academic year. However, I became very ill from african sign (swollen up foot). I never had any money to treat myself. However, I was very pleased when I received my transfer from GiveDirectly. I was very much hopeful that my life will be whole again. This transfer has saved me from so much pain and embarrassment.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
From my own judgement, GiveDirectly's method of treating everyone equally and fairly during the selection process of qualified households is laudable. I am so pleased by the fact that GiveDirectly is doing everything quite well. On the other hand, I see nothing that GD hasn't done well.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
Most of my recent transfer received from GiveDirectly was used to treat my swollen foot. I also spent part of my transfer to register 3 of my children in school for this academic year 2021/2022. With this transfer, I have lot of reasons to be hopeful in life. My treatment will be done and completed. Furthermore, my children will comfortably attend school this academic year. I am so overwhelmed to be part of this superb opportunity from GD.
