How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
If I had never recieved the transfer, I would not be in position to build my separate house and would still be sharing a house with my cowives which is inconveniencing.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, givedirectly has done well by giving me money that I am going to use to build my own house. However, givedirectly has done nothing bad.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on adding more building materials such as iron sheets, cement, bricks that I am planning to use for constructing my personal house. I have been sharing one house with my cowife. This will enable my children and me to have personal space. I have saved some of my money that I will use to hire garden land when the cultivating season starts. This will help me to cultivate my own food that my children and I will feed on than always depending on my husband who has other wives. I am using part of my transfer for treatment as I have an injury on my leg that keeps resurfacing. This is so as to keep the pain off. I then gave some money to my husband since it was as we had agreed to avoid conflict.
