How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My new plan is to build my own house. Where I live currently, am staying with my friend; I get insults from people daily because am under their roof. I'm tired with this kind of life and so, am putting my money into building a house.

What GiveDirectly is doing good is by giving people money for them to help themselves. I haven't seen GiveDirectly doing anything that is not well or good.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
My daughter and i were under the kola tree looking the messages on the phone than we got a message from GiveDirectly with the transfer. My daughter and i started to dance and shout i was waiting to put GiveDirectly Officers on my back to dance but i couldnt see any of them. I was in business but it collapsed because i had to take care of the children being a single mother, we lived in a family house were there was too many arguments between us. The little money i was keeping i bought zinc thinking someone will bless me with money to buid my house but it didnt go the way i wanted.
Life became too difficult till i received this text im so overjoyed because i can build my house now. Only God will bless the people that give us this money, GiveDirectly thank you so much.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference im my daily life is the happiness i wake up with each day knowing that i funds to soon start my houseq project. I look forward to it everyday with noy in my heart.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I am a single parent still living in a family house. If I am qualify to receive the cash transfer, my plan is to build my own house and move in it.
What is the happiest part of your day?
What have made me happy over the last 6 months is, my friends and I are engage in a village saving club which can be celebrated every month. This have brought me so much joy and happiness from past to present times.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
As a since parent, the challenge I am currently facing is to have adequate meal and finances to sustain I and my children.
