What does receiving this money mean to you?
Upon receiving my transfer I intend going in to clothes businesses. We are in the festival season (Christmas) and in my community, many parents have started looking out for beautiful clothes for their children, to express love and gratitude to them. Our community is also about 4hrs 30min walk away from Pleebo one of the biggest commercial city we usually travel, to purchase some of the major goods and services we use. So bringing these services clothes to my community will means a lot.
This business will also bloost I and my family living standards; because profit generated will be directed to sending my children to school, building a better living place, and getting nutritional food.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My husband is a hunter, and the most pleasant moment we have is When he have a great kill. We sell the meat in to the nearest market and use the income to buy our busy needs.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
We are subsistence farmers and our whole livelihoods heavily relied in this ventured. Usually after spend all of our resources to grow crops, the wild animals distroy everything( we living in a forest region) we plant.
We have had this experience in sequence by three years now. I and my family have nothing in savings to depends on. Food insecurity had been a routine experience due to the consistent invasion of wild animals to our farm. My family usually goes to bed on empty stomach.
