How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
"My life has been different in that, I was able to acquire a pair oxen that are going to help me cultivate food crops for my family as opposed to the days when I used to beg for other people's oxen to plough my farm land."
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
"In my opinion, Give directly has done well in giving out unconditional cash transfers to the poor that have helped them to sort a lot of needs they had previously struggled with. However, according to me there is totally nothing that GD has done"
What did you spend your second transfer on?
"I spent my second transfer for for paying back a loan of 400,000ugx that I had collected for treating myself. I also bought an ox at 650,000ugx, two goats at 113,000ugx and I have saved the balance for my family livelihood in the near future."

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer for buying a bull at 700,000Ugx, cleared 500,000Ugx debt that I had and got back my garden, Cultivating and planting crops 275,000Ugx and the balance I used for the family up keep.

The moment I recieved my first transfer I became very happy.

The biggest difference in my daily life is that am very happy and I have got back my garden.

My biggest hardship is lack of money to buy oxen and other farming inputs like agricultural seeds.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means buying oxen and ox plough that will save my household, the cost of hiring and delaying to plough farms every farming season.
