How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I am so happy because I was able to build a house. Had GiveDirectly not given me the cash transfers, I would have died without sleeping in a nice iron roofed house. Moreso famine would have killed us.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly does well by giving the needy unconditional cash transfers that have changed our lives. However there is no wrong doings I know of that GiveDirectly has committed.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent 1,100,000 ugx of my second transfer to plaster my house. I am keeping the balance of 500,000 ugx for buying food and other necessities.
