What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
I plan on buying 4 bags of maize for food security. I believe this will sustain me and my household until the next harvesting season. I have no idea how much this would cost, with respect to the ever changing prices these days. Then I plan on buying 4 goats so that they breed and multiply hoping that I'd sell them if need be in future for my daily sustainance. If I have some money remaining after these projects I will use that to fix my doors as you can see they are shaky so I'd hire a carpenter to make sure they are rigid and provide the needed security for my house. All this I plan on doing a day after receiving the funds.
What is the happiest part of your day?
This has to be back in August, 2022 when my child, William Fransisco who stays in kamwendo, sent me 10kgs of maize for food and then his brother sent me 2$ for milling. This brought me extreme joy and happiness.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Lack of food is the only hurdle I am currently facing. I and my 2 grandchildren, Aness James and Fransisco Ngalande sleep on empty stomachs most days due to lack of food. I only had 4 bags of millet this year which are done now and I have nowhere to turn to for food. I am restless because I am constantly worried about what I am to feed these children.
