What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
Receiving this money means that I will first have to renovate my house. As you can see the floor needs cementing so I will buy 2 bags of cement for the floor and some iron sheets for the roof. All this just to have a good and comfortable shelter for myself. Thereafter, I plan on buying myself 10 bags of maize and apply actelic so that they don't get infested. This will guarantee me food security, like I said I don't have food currently. I plan on buying myself some nice clothes as well with this money. I would spend this money this way in a week's time after receiving the funds. Unfortunately, I am not sure of the current prices but if there will be some money left after doing all these projects, I will save that remainder for my daily sustainability.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Waking up alive and healthy is the only reason for my happiness.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Currently I have only one challenge and that is lack of food. With the death of my husband, Lidson Eleson, and my weakened strength I am unable to farm like I used to back in the days and I only harvest a little. This affects my food stock levels, for instance this year I didn't even get a single bag of maize from my maize field. I have had to sell mangoes in order to get maize for food lately and I have nowhere to turn to when the mango season is over.
