What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent the larger part of my third transfer on buying a steel door and 40 pieces of iron sheets and nails since I am planning to build a four-roomed house in my own homestead since the house I am staying in at the moment is small and squeezed house hence its not fitting my family members comfortably.I bought a bag of maize for my family consumption and household utensils. I also bought a piece of mattress and a radio too.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer is that I have bought household furniture that I didn't have before which I could not afford due to lack of money. I am also happy that I am seeing my child through his education with alot of ease since at the moment I am no-longer worried of him being sent home most of the time due to school fee arrears.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly did well by giving unconditional cash transfer which has changed lives since those recipients who received the transfer they mainly used the money to pay school fees and also built houses.
