Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference is that we now eat a balanced diet at home. Previously, we could not afford to buy food. I am also happy that I will be completing the construction of the house.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I read the mobile money at night and I woke up from sleep. My spouse read the message fro me and I ran out of the house with joy and excitement. I chanted songs of joy.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
The cash transfer was spent to purchase two trips of bricks worth UGX 460000 and two trips of sand worth UGX 220000. I purchased a mattress worth UGX 120000 and bed sheets worth UGX 31000 and clothes worth UGX 15000. I also sent my husband to purchase food and some items. Currently I have a balance of UGX 530000 which I plan to spend on completing the house.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
We started building an ironsheets house 4 years back but the construction stalled due to lack of money. It is a shell house that needs completion. So, when I receive this money, I will make sure that I complete the construction of the house. In that, I will buy doors, iron sheets and other relevant materials so that we also sleep in a decent house. I will also buy a cow that will help in milk production for home consumption.
What is the happiest part of your day?
