How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I have a peace of mind because I was able to get back ownership of my land since I had no other land to cultivate.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GD has done well to support me financially in that I was able to pay off the debts I had, which I would have loss my land if GD had not supported me, and there is nothing bad GD has done.

I spent my second transfer to buy school uniforms at 40,000ugx, grass(thatch) at 200,000ugx, poles at 30,000ugx, a goat at 150,000ugx, sauce pan at 50,000ugx, construction labor at 20,000ugx, two bags of maize at 100,000ugx, Sorghum at 60,000ugx, millet 130,000ugx, cassava flour at 60,000ugx, paid debt at 700,000ugx, clothes at 92,000ugx.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, I have got back my garden and the motor bike, I have also owned better clothes, bedings and kitchen utensils. Above all, we have been relieved from the debt burden that we had as family.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my money, I became very happy and thanked God for bringing Give Directly.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer for paying off a debt of 1,100,000 ugx and got back my garden that acted as security, I also pay off another debt of 300,000 ugx and got back our motor bike that acted as security. I bought a mattress plus bed sheets at 140,000 ugx , a case, clothes and kitchen utensils at 160,000 ugx.

This transfers i will spend to buy land. This land i shall be cultivating on it inorder to get crops for sell and food.

My happiest part of the day is morning,since i wake up with less stress.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship iam facing is lack of enough food to eat.
