How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Currently, I use the transfers to pay my own school fees. I am able to afford my personal effects too. I do not spend a lot of time at home because I have a way of clearing my outstanding fee balance. Thank You GiveDirectly for making my dream come true. Previously, my parents would struggle so much just to raise some little money to pay for my school fees. I had finished my primary school and they had no plans of taking me to secondary as they earn so little that can only put a few meals in our family table.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
Right now, I do not have any new goal as I want to concentrate more on saving towards paying for my school fees.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my life right now is that I can pay my own school fees and does not have to burden my parents. I do not have to be dependent on my parents. I was able to enrol myself in a secondary school and I look forward to fulfilling my dreams of finishing my secondary school education.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I am going to save more and pay more school fees. I would not wish to be sent away from school every now and then. I also want to buy a school uniform for the next term as I had an old one. Next year I will be joining form four and I need to be in school most of the time to get to study well and pass my exams.
