How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has greatly changed because I was able to get proper treatment for my failing leg, knee and hip bones. Prior to recieving this money, I had no hope of ever getting treatment since I had no where to turn to get money. This is because I could just sit by myself and do nothing about it. Secondly I am grateful that this transfer has helped me hire labor that has done the farming for me. Personally, I had given up on farming since my health is detoriating and I am unable to do it.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GiveDirectly has done well by giving me money that has enabled me to hire labor that helped me to do a lot of farming since I am really not able to do anything by myself. On the other hand, there is nothing wrong that GiveDirectly has done.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent part of my second transfer to go to hospitals to get treatment for my weakening legs. I spent some to buy food for my family. I then bought some seedlings. I am saving up some that I will use as need arises like going for reviews and feeding as well.
