Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, I have settled all the debts which we had as a family. Paying off these debts has enabled us repossess our two pieces of land from the money lender. Secondly, I have owned household Items that I didn't have before like a bed and a mattress. Prior to receiving this cash transfer, I had no hope of paying off the debts and it would have taken me over two years to recovere just one piece of land.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
My phone rang at around 7:00 am upon checking, it was a mobile money message notifying me that I had received money from Segovia GiveDirectly. I was overwhelmed by joy because I was going to be relieved from the debt burden that I had.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to pay off the debts that I had in so doing I was enable to repossess my pieces of land from money lender. I also bought an ox, a bed , mattress and a pair of bed sheets.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means that I will spend it for buying oxen. I realise very little crop produce each season since my household depends on hiring Labour. This produce does not support my family needs like, having enough food and other requirements. Once I own my oxen, I will be ploughing earlier enough hence able to catch up with rains. This will lead to increase in crop production for my household. These produce will facilitate other needs like provision of health services easily through exchanging them for money.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is evening hours. I feel out of place the whole day since Iam busy. I take prayers as better way of reducing stress in my life during evening hours.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest challenge I face is inadequate money to sustain different needs in my household. This is because I lack oxen to enhence easy and ealier ploughing of land for crop planting. I there get little crop produce and unable to sell some for money.
