Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
Having recieved this money, I was in position to acquire an ox that has enabled me to plough and plant in time. I expect increased yields this time around for supporting me family. Previously, I used to plough in other people's farms in exchange of their oxen. This often delayed my planting since I was given oxen when it's out of season that resulted to poor harvest, because the oxen owners first prioritized their farms before they give out the oxen.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I realised that I had received my money at around 6:00 am when I was switching my phone on in the morning. I became very happy because the money was going to enable me acquire things that I had desired in life like an ox and a new mattress.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to purchase an ox, 2 goats, a mattress, clothes and foodstuffs.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means owning two oxen and two cows. The oxen will support in ploughing land while the cows will be an investment for the household, a source of milk and income for meeting other household needs like treatment. It's a challenge to plough land because I do not own any oxen and any investment at household level.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is between 1:00pm and 2:00pm when I have eaten lunch. I take off a few minutes resting and planning on how to embark on the evening program. I am energized and very productive for the rest of the evening.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I face is limited income at household level. I am apeasant farmer relying on farming as my main source of income. Not owning oxen delays ploughing of farm land and renders my household vulnerable. I can not afford to have enough food or even meet household basic needs like clothes, medical care, to mention.
