How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different compared to if I had not received this cash transfer in that, I now have self esteem that I had lacked for so long.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Give Directly has done well in community sensitization and I do not see what they have failed to do well.

I spent my cash transfer worth UGX 1,633,000, I used UGX 500,000 for cultural events, I hired land d cultivation at UGX 300,000, I saved UGX 300,000 in our village bank, I bought clothes of UGX 250,000, I bought seeds of UGX 50,000, made bricks of UGX 50,000and he balance I used for feeding.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I got back my land, I can cultivate on it and get food for my family.

The moment I received the money I felt so happy.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent 1,000,000ugx ofmy first transfer for paying off mortgage and I got back my land. I bought household items(3 mattress, clothes), a solar 130,000ugx, paid a school fees debt of 350,000ugx. The balance of the money I spent on food.

Receiving this money means to buy oxen and one cow. These oxen my family will use for ploughing purposes and the cow shall provide milk.

The happiest part of the day is evening when iam with my spouse sleeping.

The biggest hardship iam facing is lack of enough food for family consumption.
