Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is the relief and joy I feel for having got this unconditional transfer that has enabled me to buy an ox plough and a bull that I will be using to timely cultivate on my land. This will as well serve as my source of income when people in the community need to hire my ox plough for their own use. Prior to getting this money, I used to go fishing as a way to meet the demands of my family. Now that I have my ox plough, I have reduced the fishing work.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my money, I felt extremely happy. I had never held this amount of money.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer a bull at Ugx 1200000. I bought an ox plough at Ugx 200000. I bought a mattress at Ugx 115000. I gave my wife Ugx 150000 to spend as she pleased. The balance of my transfer was used to cater for feeding.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means that I will spend for buying oxen and ox-plough. Iam a fisher man and all the money I realise from it is spent on cultivation purposes instead of providing other neccessities for my family members like treatment. Once I own oxen and ox-plough, I will no longer spend money got from fishing to pay labour forexample ploughing. This means the money I realise from fishing will take care of treatment and providing other needs for my family members.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day is afternoon hours. My children start playing especially after getting done with lunch. I relax and get time to chat with my spouse since there is freedom.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I face is lack of oxen and ox-plough. My household spends the little money realised from fishing instead for paying labour hence no saving. This has resulted to low sutainablity since I can not afford providing other neccessities for my family members.
