Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was very excited the moment I received my transfer. I had problems which needed money to be fixed. I even danced the day I cashed out.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
I have managed to do a lot of things which I couldn't have managed to do on my own. I managed to pay school fees for my secondary school child, I managed to buy iron sheets, I also managed to buy bags of maize for food processing. I am so grateful.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I would like to express my gratitude to GD for the good work that they have done. I received my transfer and everything went well. I managed to buy 24 iron sheets which I will use to replace the grass thatched roof with. I also bought 2 Mattress, one for me and one for my children. I have a child who failed to go to school because of school fees. I used part of the money to pay school fees. I also bought 3 bags of maize for food processing. The remaining amount of money was used to buy kitchen utensils.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
The money will change my life. It has been my dream to have a house. I will use this money to build one because the house i am staying now is not in good condition. As you can see is a grass thatched house and leaka during rainy season. I want to build a new house with iron sheets
What is the happiest part of your day?
Last month as in was very happy because my sister received money from mtukula pakhomo project and she shared me mk10,000. I was very happy because that time i did not have money for food. I used the money to buy maize and relish
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The main challenge is a good place to stay. As said my house leaks during rainy season. And with this rainy season life is hard. When the rains comes some of our things gets wet and ita very uncomfortable.
