How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I have enough milk for my family and my children no longer take black tea as they used to do. I also sell the surplus to meet other family basic needs. I can now save my daily wages in my bank account since I am planning to buy a motor cycle by the end of this year. This will be a source of income since I will be riding my own motor cycle.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
The enrollment process was fair and in my opinion I do not see anything that Give Directly does not do well.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I used my second transfer to buy two dairy cows. I add my savings from my first transfer to my second transfer and bought the cows. I have been struggling to buy milk and meet other family basic needs with the little money I got from my daily wages as a motor cyclist. This was expensive since I did not have another source of income and my family at times could take black tea when I did not get money to buy milk and this used to worry me a lot since my children are still young and they could be malnourished. It is my joy now since I have enough milk for my family and I can even sell the surplus to earn an income to meet other family basic needs.
