No! I had no new goals before receiving this payment. I am a farmer. Things have not been so well for me. I am old and sometimes I get sick so it's difficult to make large farms. I was excited when I started receiving payments from GiveDirectly. My goal has been to build a house of my own. I live with my daughter. She helps cater to my needs. I have been wanting to build a house of my own but have been unable due to lack of money. I am so grateful for this amazing opportunity. Things will never be the same again.

I was overwhelmed when I received my payment. I used some of my money to buy zinc and some other building materials. I also bought a bag of rice rice. Because I was ill I used some of my payment to buy some medications.

I was at my farm working when my daughter came running with my phone to me. She read the massage for me and started to shout ,sing and dance because i can't read so i was waiting to get her response. The biggest difference in my daily life since i started receiving money from Givedirectly,is there's happiness in my life. My life is changing gradually because my children are happy seeing their mother not crying to build house for them anymore. Since the death of my husband, life has been completely hard for my children and I. I have been the biggest laughter of this town people call me all sort names, some even said I'll live in family house until i die. My children been helping me to make farm and produce the cassava and make fufu out of it. We sell the fufu used the money to pay my children school fees and buy food.all thanks to GiveDirectly .

The recent i received from Givedirectly was used to buy two bundles of zinc for the sum of $175 us dollars. I used some to buy my children Christmas things.The balance money will be used to pay for people to cut stakes and saw planks for my building project.
