How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The goals I had before receiving this transfer was to buy 10 bags of fertilizer, 10 bags of maize and a mattress also 20 sheets of roofing.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly does everything well because they managed to helped me with alot of problems that i had so because everything worked out according I would say they do everything well.

I spent my recent transfers, new roofing and getting bricks made.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received the transfers I danced because I was very happy.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my life is that now we have have food and blankets because that was very difficult for us to have around the house.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I spent the transfers on cement and bought some roofs because we are in the process of building a house. But I also managed to buy some bags of maize, fertilizer and blankets.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
The transfer means a lot to me. I am planning to build a house when I receive my transfer. My house is very small and we don't sleep comfortably. I also intend to buy mattress and beddings. Food production has been a challenge and I will use the money to buy some bags of fertilizer for the next growing season.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am a happy person when I have money which I can use in my day to day life.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Hunger is the main challenge here. The food we have is not enough.
