What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on buying more building materials such as iron sheets, bricks and getting back land that I had mortgaged some time back. The balance I am using to provide for my family
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Givedirectly has made me and my family so happy because there is money we got unlike when there is no money , there is a lot of fighting
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
If I had never recieved the transfer, I think my children and I would be malnourished because at the time there was out break of famine. Now that I recieved the transfer, my family and I are health and living in harmony

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to buy 12 iron sheets, and one table , and a. set of stools, a pair of plastic chairs, and a dozen of melamine plates, a half dozen of cups , and some glass cups, and 2 big sauce pans. I also bought clothes for my children and my husband, and mattresses, and I also spent part of the money to buy food and scholastic materials for the children.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
At first I received a message on my phone at night. I lept with joy and I was very happy.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
Our condition at home was very miserable before but as I speak now we are all happy and thank GD for the cash transfer. Our health has greatly changed, every one at home now can have a good meal, the children now sleep comfortably.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i am faced with is lack of money.
I am not able to take my children to better schools and yet i would really love that they also study up to higher levels of institutional learning.
I am worried that i may not be able to meet the cost of education.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the noon time after i have had lunch together with my children, they are happy and willing to go back to school because they are satisfied.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Reciving this money means i will be able to educate my children, build an iron roofed house, buy household utensils and buy a cow so that my family can take milk.
I believe this will make my children healthier thus making life better.
