How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is now different in that I got back my gardens after paying off my debtors who had owned my 2 pieces of land because I had failed to pay back the debts.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GD supported me financially in that I was able to pay off all my debts and take my child for further studies and there is nothing wrong GD has done.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to pay tution for my child at university studies which costed me 1,000,000ugx and I also bought a mattress at 120,000ugx. The balance of the money I'm still planning now to spend it.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, I am now a happy and free person having paid off the mortgage amount in exchange for an acre of land.

The moment I received my transfer, I felt very happy.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
When I received my first transfer,I Paid off the money I had borrowed in exchange for an acre of land worth 1,500,000ugx, I have now regained ownership for the land which I will cultivate food for the family. The balance of 200,000ugx, I bought a mattress, plastic chairs and utensils.

The biggest hardship i am faced with is inadequacy of money to pay school fees for my children.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when i pray.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means i Will be able to retrive the piece of land that i had leased, improve on my farming activity.
