How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is so different in that I now have property that I did not own before. I am so happy now because my family eats well. This would have not happened had I not received the transfer.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion give directly did well to send us cash transfers. However personally I cannot accuse give directly for any wron doing because it has helped me alot.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I lent out 1,350,000 ugx and I bought two mattresses worth 160,000 ugx. I also paid school fees worth 136,000 ugx and the balance I spent on food.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is the joy that I got for having completed the debt of paying off my land.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my money, I felt very so happy.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I plan spend my first transfer to complete purchase my land at 750,000 ugx. This has been a big debt to me since I really did not have any hope for getting money. I also plan to buy another bull ,to help for work at either 800,000 ugx. Then, I am looking at how to pay fees for my children.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Inadequacy of farm land that would otherwise support farming activity.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when my children are healthy, happy and playing.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means i Will be able to pay school fees for my children, complete the payment of the piece of land that i had started, buy a cow.
