How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My only goal have been to build myself a new house. I am having a large family. The previous house that I am staying in with my family is too small to accommodate everyone. This has brought me a very serious discomfort. Due to the lack of finance, I have not been able to build a bigger house. Fortunately when I to receive the transfers from GiveDirectly, I decided to build a bigger house for the comfort of my family and I in the future.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
If there is anything that is not done well by GiveDirectly, well I have not seen it. I believe that GiveDirectly have done very much well by reaching out to every deserving households in the town and determining their eligibility during the enrolment process. To me in my opinion, this shows fairness on the program. All I have to say is to thank GiveDirectly for such great opportunity and help given to me to change my life positively and that of my family for the future.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have been living in a very tight little house along with my family. My Children have been out of school for some years now. Therefore due to this reason, when I received my recent transfer from Givedirectly, I decided to used some of it to buy two bundles of zinc to add up to the previous one I had. The remaining portion of the transfer, I spend portion of it to pay for my children's education for a better future.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was in the hospital getting treatment for my leg when I noticed my phone vibrating, I hurriedly check and it was my transfer that was being sent, so I kept it to myself and and glad in my heart. A lot began to run through my minds, but all I could ask for was speedy recovery in other to get those things done.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
I have been taking care of my sister's children since her death and the death of my mother. Life has never been bread and butter for me to the extent that I had to drop from school and cater to them. I'm much relief now even though I'm sick, but I have a hope which is Give Directly and I know that things will work out for us in a soonest possible time! I'm grateful to God for Give Directly, they are my hero.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I had an accident, and has been admitted to the hospital in Cesto, but my leg keeps swelling and I was being transferred to Monrovia. I have been in Monrovia for some time and there's no improvement, so I was advised by the Doctor to go traditional. I'm currently at a herbalist place getting treatment. All this couldn't permit to cash my money out but I intend to keep the entire transfer which is the four payment, to be able to buy a piece of land in Cesto, and build a house with a shop attached to it for business purposes to enable me sustain my family and I.
