What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on buying land for farming. I also bought a bicycle for fetching me water since can no longer walk to the well because of my old age.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I would be in a bad condition in terms of feeding since i have no one to finacially support me and i can no longer work to get what to eat with my old age however my life is different because with the transfers i received, i stocked food and I have some money for my upkeep.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GD does well by giving us unconditional money and truthfully i have never seen anyone give out such free money to someone they are not related to.

The biggest difference in my daily life is that right now i have a peace of mind since i am going to build a bigger house.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I used my second transfer to buy iron sheets and bricks for expanding my house to 3 rooms. We have been staying in a 2 roomed small house and my children were suffocating because of the one small room they shared.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I felt very happy and excited when I received the money that i danced and ululated in celebration.

I plan to expand my house and cement, with the transfer that will be given to me.

My proudest achievement is that my children have grown up to be responsible and are taking care of me now.

The death of my husband was biggest hardship I have faced in my life thirteen years ago.

The happiest part of my day is night time because this is when I rest in my sleep peacefully.
