How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I have had set goals to improve my house to a decent one and to send my children to school but due to the lack of the needed cash, I have not been able to achieve those goals in full. Now that I have this money, I am going to use portion it to buy cement, zinc, and paint to improve my house to level I want it to be; and portion will be used to send back to school my children.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I think GiveDirectly has done well and continue to do well in the way they enter into the community. This way of community entry prevent outsiders from benefiting what the residents are entitled to. GiveDirectly also does well in making sure that every qualified households that received payments are talked to, to find out if that household did received their payment or face any difficulties in cashing out their payments.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
Like I said from the beginning, I have been thinking of building a decent house for my family to live in, I therefore bought zinc, cement, and paint with and the balance was used to pay my children's school fees.
