Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My next goal for the next four months is to ensure that I start a business. I am tired of doing casual jobs which are normally very tiresome with low payment. I have already started doing my research to find the most viable business in this locality. This will enable me to have a decent source of income even after Give Directly have finished their program in this region. I will now be able to buy new clothes and feed my children comfortably.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my life ever since Give Directly came into my life, I have been able to build an iron-roofed house. I used to live in a grass-thatched house that leaked a lot during the rainy season. I used to spend sleepless nights during these seasons because my bedding could get wet due to the leaking roof. Through the transfers, I was able to afford to buy building materials and managed to build a spacious iron-roofed house. Nowadays I sleep in peace without being distracted by the rains.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months I will have strategized on how I will expand my business. I will expand my business depending on the demand of the items I will be selling. I want to make sure that my business grows such that it I can open different branches in the nearby villages. I know my dreams are valid. Through hard work and prayer I will be able to accomplish this in the next six months. This will be able to sustain me even when I get old.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
The other difference in my daily is that my children have never been sent home because of school fees arrears. I have always used part of my transfers to pay their school fees. Before the transfers, I used to struggle to raise money to meet my family needs. The income from casual work was very little and demands were many hence I was not able to pay their school fees in time. With GD transfers, I have been able to pay their school fees bit by bit. I am glad now I am up to date with the arrears. I am not worried anymore about them being sent home for the same.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
In the next four months, I would wish to start my own hairdressing business. I have been working in a friend's salon and I feel its time I have my own. I know through this I will have my own source of income to help meet my family needs with ease.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my life since I started receiving these transfers is that I have savings which I will use in buying building my house. My husband and I have tried to raise money to buy building materials but due to our low income and many life demands, we have not been able to buy them. We had resolved in having a grass thatched house because we had given up in building iron sheets until GD came to our lives. With transfers which I have saved, I know I will finally have the iron-roofed house I have been dreaming of.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I am planning to build a new house in my own home. This has been my dream and I am glad am finally going to achieve it because of GD transfers. I will buy building materials such as iron sheets, timber, sand, nails, and cement which I will use to build a house of my dream.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Currently, I do not have to depend on anyone for financial help. This is because I receive monthly transfers from Give Directly. I have been saving in a merry-go-round towards buying building materials to use later to build a new house to accommodate my large family. This also means we will have our own home as my sons will eventually build their own houses.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I do not have any additional goal as at now.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life since I started receiving these transfers is that I was able to join a merry-go-round to save towards buying building materials i.e. iron sheets that I plan to use to build a new house as I still live in my father-in-law's compound. I still live with my sons in our very small house that can no longer accommodate my big family. I am looking forward to having my own home so that my sons can have a place to build their houses.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change tremendously in the coming months. By then, I shall have saved enough to finally buy the building materials which I will be using to build a new house as I have a small house that can accommodate my large family. I would be having a home and my sons would have built their own houses by then.
