How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
The difference in my life in the last four months is that I have never missed any meal in our house. This is a big step in our life since we used to miss a lot of meals due to low income from casual work. For us, it was a routine and we were used to missing meals. With GD transfers, I have been able to budget well and ensure we have three meals a day unlike before when we would have two maximum meals in a day.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
In the next four months, I wish to start a business to sustain my family needs. I would not want to depend on income from Casual work since it was not consistent and not much. I would want to boost our income through business.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life since I started receiving these transfers is that I have savings for an emergency. In the past before the transfers, I did not have any savings since I had a very low income which was not enough to handle my family needs. I would use everything I get on a daily basis for food. Anytime I had an emergency, I would be forced to borrow money to meet our needs. With Gd transfers, I have confidence that I will not have any more debts.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
My plan for the next six months is to plaster my house. I built my house last year with part of my transfer by buying building materials. Right now I wish to buy building materials such as cement and sand which I will use in plastering my house. This will make it strong and durable.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
The other difference in my life is that I have been able to budget well and ensure my family needs are well catered for. Before the transfers, I used to struggle to feed my family since my mother is not well and I have been taking care of the family. My income was not enough to meet the needs of the family and hence sometimes we would miss some meals. The transfers have helped me to ensure that other needs are met in time.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
In the next four months, I wish to start my own business. I would want to have a stable source of income to help me meet family needs. I would not want to continue going for casual work after this life-changing opportunity.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life since I started receiving these transfers is that I have the money which I have saved. I did not have any savings in my life before the transfers because income from casual work was not enough to help me meet the demands of my family. I would use everything I get on a daily basis to cater to my needs and that of my family. This is the reason why I did not have any money to save. With the transfers, I have been able to spend and save some for future use.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I would want to buy building materials so as to build my own house. I do not have a house now and it is my priority to build a house so that I better my life.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from how it was in that, I am now focused on achieving my goal. Every day I wake up I get driven by a force and a plan of what needs to be done because I have a goal that needs to be achieved. I have already bought the materials needed to cement my house. I recently added sand for the plastering process. I can now go hustle for other needs such as food because the transfers I received has been channelled for this purpose. I can only top up using the casual jobs I normally do. After finishing this goal I can now start thinking of other ideas or goals that will improve our lives
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
Currently, my main focus is to plaster my house. I don't want to think of a new goal before I finish plastering my house because it will distract my focus. I want to concentrate on my current goal then I will think of what to accomplish next.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months is that I feel motivated and proud of myself. I have managed to buy sand. I feel like I am growing and achieving my goals. I can make plans and be sure to accomplish them for instance, I see the plan of cementing my house being achievable. After doing my calculations, the transfers from Give Directly will help a lot in actualizing this dream which I have been having for so long. I feel my hope in life has been restored again
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change in the next six months because I am planning to invest in domestic fowls. I believe I will have bought goats since it has high market demand. The money that I get from this business will be channelled towards taking care of my needs for a long period of time.
